Prestige service in the suburbs...

A NEW workshop in Taringa is targeting owners of European cars with a lower-cost alternative to official dealer servicing. Trivett Prestige Service, at 216 Moggill Road, opened for business in June, mirroring Justin Trivett's existing northside operation at Kedron. Trivett knows a thing or two about European cars, having been a dealer for BMW, Saab and Porsche, among others. Manager Rob Wallace, who formerly spent 12 years with Brisbane BMW, says European cars are becoming more affordable, presenting traditional Ford and Holden buyers with new choices. The shock comes when it's time for service, and Wallace says he aims to do work for 20 percent less than official dealers. Chris
