Council Cab

A Council Cab service operates each Thursday from 9 a.m. in the St Lucia area for residents who are over 60; mobility impaired or hold a Pension Concession Card or Centrelink Senior Card or are a carer or minor accompanying someone who is eligible.

Each one-way trip costs $1.50 and is paid to the driver as you board.

The Cab will pick you up from you home and take you to the Toowong Village Shopping Centre. A return service from the shopping centre to your home will leave at 12.30p.m.

Seats are limited so you need to book in advance (up to 2pm the day before the service). If you decide not to travel remember to cancel your booking so the seat can be allocated to another passenger. A Wheelchair accessible vehicle can be requested when you book.

A service to Toowong Village for Toowong and Taringa residents will be starting soon.
